This is a video featuring a speech by Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma.

Gives one pause, doesn’t it?

  1. I say send the riddle to Barney Frank. Apparently he’s brilliant.

  2. Mustang says:

This is certainly no riddle for Barney Frank or any other socialist member of Congress. They know exactly what they’re doing. They realize that there is no issue of constitutional checks on power until someone sues the government and has their case heard before the Supreme Court.

I do have an issue with this Senator, however. I agree with him that the bailout is unconstitutional . . . but what I do not understand, given our agreement, why he voted for it. For as long as elected officials are willing to relinquish principle for expediency, we will continue to have a Congress that violates our Constitution.
